Aviation offers far more opportunities than just flying for the airlines. In this module, we explore different career paths within aviation, including flight instruction, corporate flying, airlines, military, and other aviation-related professions. This lesson helps you understand how pilots build experience and choose a path that fits their goals.

Understanding how airplanes fly is fundamental to aviation. This module breaks down the four forces of flight: lift, weight, thrust, and drag. It explains how they interact to keep an aircraft in the air. You’ll gain a clear, intuitive understanding of these forces without needing a technical background.

Aviation has its own language, and learning it early makes training much easier. In this module, you’ll be introduced to common aviation terminology and radio phraseology used by pilots. By the end, you’ll better understand how pilots communicate and what phrases like “roger” and “wilco” really mean.

Weather plays a critical role in aviation safety. This module introduces basic weather concepts that pilots must understand, including visibility, winds, clouds, and storms. You’ll learn how weather impacts flight decisions and why pilots treat weather awareness as a core safety skill.
